Three Lakes won the last time they faced Wabeno/Laona and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Bluejays came out on top against the Rebels by a score of  3-1. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Bluejays.
 While Three Lakes might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Wabeno/Laona scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 25-21,  25-18.
 Malia Szews paced Three Lakes' offense, picking up 15 kills. Szews got some help from  Kailyn Fogerty and her 35 assists. Fogerty was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
 Despite the loss, Wabeno/Laona still got an impressive performance from   Reese Connor, who  had 32  assists and ten  digs. With that strong performance,  Connor is now averaging an impressive 12.2 assists per game.
Three Lakes' win bumped their record up to 26-7. As for Wabeno/Laona, their loss  ended  a  12-match streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 21-8.
 Three Lakes has already played their next match,  a  3-0  victory against Mellen on the 7th. As for Wabeno/Laona, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  2-1  win against Reedsville on the 4th.
