Volleyball Recap: Trinity Lutheran Beats Oldenburg Academy for Their Third Straight Victory

Trinity Lutheran extended their postseason success on Saturday against Oldenburg Academy. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Twisters. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Twisters, too.

Rachel Bonde paced Trinity Lutheran's offense, picking up 13 kills. Bonde got some help from Bella Wehmiller and her 23 assists. Emmy Price controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The victory (which was Trinity Lutheran's third in a row) raised their record to 18-11. As for Oldenburg Academy, they moved to 26-6 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-match winning streak.

Trinity Lutheran didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Rising Sun on the 18th. Oldenburg Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
