Wossman posted their biggest win since December 13, 2024 on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Carroll Bulldogs as the Wossman Wildcats made off with a 69-49 victory. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Bulldogs are ranked 47th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wossman is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Carroll, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-15.

Wossman will have a chance to go back-to-back against Carroll: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
