Football Recap: Inlet Grove Victorious

Inlet Grove earned a 25-12 victory over Somerset Academy South Homestead on Friday.

Inlet Grove had a senior duo take command as Cornelius Terry rushed for 158 yards on only six carries and Rj Hickox threw for 207 yards and three TDs on only 16 passes. Terry's longest rush was for an impressive 53 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. A healthy portion of Hickox's aerial production (91 yards to be exact) went to Ciniger Smith.

Inlet Grove now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Somerset Academy South Homestead, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inlet Grove will venture away from home to face off against King's Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Somerset Academy South Homestead, they will take on Miami Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
