Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Kenyon-Wanamingo's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Kenyon-Wanamingo won the last time they faced Blooming Prairie, and Emilie Jarvis did her part to make sure it happened again. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Awesome Blossoms on Tuesday with plenty of help from Jarvis, who had 19 digs and six assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

One reason for the win was Kenyon-Wanamingo's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-11.

Kenyon-Wanamingo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Blooming Prairie, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Kenyon-Wanamingo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Hayfield on the 18th. As for Blooming Prairie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva on the 18th.
