Basketball Game Preview: Pelham Panthers vs. Helena Huskies

The Pelham Panthers will challenge the Helena Huskies at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pelham will be strutting in after a win while Helena will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Friday, Pelham earned a 54-45 victory over Chelsea. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Helena ended up a good deal behind Hueytown on Monday and lost 58-43. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Huskies came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Golden Gophers are ranked 137th).

This is the second loss in a row for Helena and nudges their season record down to 12-10. As for Pelham, their win bumped their record up to 12-13.
