Recap: Windsor Wizards vs. Centaurus Warriors

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Windsor Wizards had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They breezed by Centaurus at home to the tune of 48-0. The win was familiar territory for Windsor who now have six in a row.

Samuel Cooper was a one-man wrecking crew for Windsor as he rushed for 213 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Cooper's longest rush was for an incredible 91 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Lichtenberg, who rushed for 132 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.

Windsor pushed their record up to 10-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.33 points. As for Centaurus, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.

Windsor will head out on the road to face off against Ponderosa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ponderosa is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Centaurus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
