Soccer Recap: Tallwood Comes Up Short

Tallwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the First Colonial Patriots. While losing is never fun, Tallwood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 124th, while First Colonial are ranked ninth).

Tallwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for First Colonial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tallwood will take on Maury at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
