Volleyball Recap: Academy of the Sacred Heart Comes Up Short

Academy of the Sacred Heart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ascension Episcopal. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Ascension Episcopal this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Academy of the Sacred Heart's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Ascension Episcopal, their victory bumped their record up to 22-11.

Academy of the Sacred Heart didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Westminster Christian Academy on the 1st. As for Ascension Episcopal, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Notre Dame on the 1st.
