Volleyball Recap: Eastside Takes a Loss

Eastside saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Commerce Tigers by a score of 2-1. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 25-21 in the first set.

Eastside came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 27-25, 15-13.

Eastside's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Commerce, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Eastside will take on George Walton Academy in a tournament on Saturday. As for Commerce, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Westlake at 11:00 a.m.
