Basketball Recap: Soddy Daisy Comes Up Short

Soddy Daisy was the 49-46 winner over Signal Mountain when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Soddy Daisy Trojans were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 40-39 to the Signal Mountain Eagles. The game marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Soddy Daisy dropped their record down to 6-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Signal Mountain, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Soddy Daisy will take on East Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Soddy Daisy is facing East Ridge at the right time seeing as East Ridge is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Signal Mountain, they will face off against Boyd-Buchanan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boyd-Buchanan will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Signal Mountain surely won't give up without a fight.
