Recap: Far Northeast W Warriors vs. Adams City Eagles
The Far Northeast W Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 55-23 loss at the hands of Adams City. Far Northeast W was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Adams City apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Adams City's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Morgan Williams, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 17 rebounds. Williams hasn't dropped below two steals for 13 straight games. Fernanda Hernandez was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten rebounds and 12 steals.
Far Northeast W has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Adams City, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9.
Far Northeast W does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Adams City, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Alameda at 5:30 p.m. on February 6th. Adams City is facing Alameda at the right time seeing as Alameda is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
