Basketball Recap: The Colorado Springs School Comes Up Short

The Colorado Springs School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 28-19 to the Monument Academy Lynx. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Kodiaks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 35-26 last Tuesday.

The Colorado Springs School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Monument Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

The Colorado Springs School has already played their next game, a 29-13 victory against Colorado School for the Deaf Blind on the 23rd. As for Monument Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Calhan at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
