Basketball Recap: Garden City Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Garden City Cougars were beaten by the Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles 44-16. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 610th, while the Eagles are ranked 273rd).

Garden City has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. Plymouth Christian Academy now has a winning record of 11-10.

Garden City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-38 loss against Farmington on the 27th. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 58-38 defeat against Lumen Christi Catholic on the 27th.
