Football Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 19-7 to the McClatchy Lions.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for McClatchy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will venture away from home to take on Rancho Cucamonga at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars' defense has only allowed 12.4 points per game this season, so the Mustangs' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for McClatchy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Monterey Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
