Atlantic Coast waltzed into their contest on Monday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They came out on top against the First Coast Buccaneers by a score of 8-4. This was payback for the Stingrays, who suffered a 5-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Morgan Brown spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on 12 hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Amia Hladik, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Stella Lynton was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Atlantic Coast's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for First Coast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Atlantic Coast will be playing in front of their home fans against Ponte Vedra at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for First Coast, they will head out on the road to face off against Sandalwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. First Coast will need to watch out since Sandalwood has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
