Basketball Game Preview: Nature Coast Tech Sharks vs. Springstead Eagles

Nature Coast Tech hasn't had much luck against Springstead recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Sharks will square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Nature Coast Tech came up short against Lecanto and fell 31-24.

Meanwhile, Springstead entered their tilt with Weeki Wachee on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 45-20 margin over the Hornets. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Nature Coast Tech's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Springstead, their win bumped their record up to 19-5.

Nature Coast Tech was dealt a bruising 56-13 defeat at the hands of Springstead when the teams last played back in November of 2025. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Eagles' Briana Coleman, who shot 70% from the field on her way to 17 points and eight boards.
