Cass City had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They blew past the Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots 3-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory last Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 26-24.

Skylar Ignash paced Cass City's offense, picking up 13 kills. Ignash got some help from Jaidyn Van Vliet and her 29 assists. Karsyn Ignash controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cass City's victory bumped their record up to 16-7-1. As for Unionville-Sebewaing, they now have a losing record of 13-14-4.

Cass City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Laker on the 16th. As for Unionville-Sebewaing, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Reese at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
