Softball Recap: Ramsay Comes Up Short

Ramsay lost against Moody back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rams came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 20-3.

Kennedi Nichols-Ford was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Ramsay now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Moody, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ramsay will take on Leeds at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Greenwave have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Moody, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hewitt-Trussville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
