Volleyball Recap: Temple Wildcats vs. West Fork Gators

Temple was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Fork Gators.

West Fork's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addison Lewis led the charge by getting 18 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Lewis has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Rylie Scimio, who had 12 kills, six digs, and one block.

Temple's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for West Fork, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Temple will face off against Caldwell at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for West Fork, they will take on Bryan in a tournament on Friday.
