The Manvel Mavericks will be home for the holidays to greet the Texas City Stingarees at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Manvel is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
Manvel's 21-10 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 41-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cypress Woods on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Texas City scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Milby 77-24 at home. The win was a breath of fresh air for Texas City as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Manvel has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Texas City, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
Manvel strolled past Texas City in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 46-32. Will Manvel repeat their success, or does Texas City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
