Softball Recap: Dock Mennonite Comes Up Short

Dock Mennonite fell victim to Merion Mercy Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Golden Bears, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Pioneers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Dock Mennonite saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taelyn Landis, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Dock Mennonite's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Merion Mercy Academy, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Dock Mennonite wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 17-3 win against The Christian Academy on the 30th. As for Merion Mercy Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-7 victory against Gwynedd Mercy Academy on the 30th.
