Baseball Recap: Eagan Comes Up Short

Eagan lost to Shakopee back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Sabers by a score of 3-2.

Eagan now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Shakopee, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eagan is set to take on their familiar foe Prior Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Shakopee will face off against rival Lakeville North at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Sabers 3, the Panthers 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
