Soccer Game Preview: Roosevelt vs. Fordson

The Roosevelt Bears will head out to square off against the Fordson Tractors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fordson took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Roosevelt, who comes in off a win.

Roosevelt took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Taylor. The result was nothing new for Roosevelt, who have now won four games by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Fordson unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against Glenn, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Fordson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while Glenn are ranked 108th).

Fordson's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Roosevelt, they now have a winning record of 6-5-2.
