Soccer Recap: St. Edward's Comes Up Short

The matchup between St. Edward and Tradition Prep on Wednesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. St. Edward's fell just short of Tradition Prep by a score of 5-4. St. Edward's was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Tradition Prep apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

St. Edward's hit Tradition Prep with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rory Barton (2), Coleson Radecke, and Cesar Rojas.

St. Edward's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Tradition Prep, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Looking ahead, St. Edward's will be playing in front of their home fans against John Carroll Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tradition Prep, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Westwood at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
