Emma Winter Game Report: vs Sunnyside

On Thursday Emma Winter pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits, which was good enough to set a new career-low in hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her tenth in a row with less than one walk. On the season, she has an ERA of 3.62 over 19.3 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Winter and Marana will host Tucson High Magnet School at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Winter's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Tigers' four-game streak of wins at home.
