Volleyball Recap: Muscle Shoals Starts Season with Defeat at Home + How To Watch

Muscle Shoals unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Deshler Tigers on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Trojans have suffered since September 16, 2024.

Makenzie Sears paced Muscle Shoals' offense, picking up nine kills. Sears got some help from Aubrey Kincaid and her 20 assists. Adilynn Petersen and Charli Vincent kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Muscle Shoals has already played their next contest (against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Deshler, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against East Limestone on the 23rd.
