Basketball Game Preview: Varela Vipers vs. Homestead Broncos + How To Watch

Varela is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Homestead Broncos at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Varela blew Killian out of the water the last time the pair played, but last Thursday Killian got their revenge. The Vipers fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 65-62. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (57), the Vipers still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Homestead posted their closest victory since January 13th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Potter's House Christian Blue, sneaking past 70-67.

Having lost for the first time this season, Varela fell to 2-1. As for Homestead, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
