Albuquerque Academy came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.9 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 38-33 W against the Hope Christian Huskies. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 55-49 victory back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Albuquerque Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lily Skarsgard, who went 6-for-15 to rack up 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. Skarsgard is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Kiara Brown was another key player, putting up six points and five boards.

Albuquerque Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 15 offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Hope Christian's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mia Bishop, who posted 11 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Louisa Landavazo, who had seven points and three steals.

Albuquerque Academy's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Hope Christian, their record now sits at 14-10.

Albuquerque Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-45 victory against Del Norte on the 13th. As for Hope Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 76-38 win against Valley on the 13th.
