Basketball Game Preview: Kingston Buccaneers vs. Fife Trojans

The Kingston Buccaneers will head out on the road to face off against the Fife Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Kingston lost 71-51 to Bainbridge on Tuesday. The Buccaneers haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 57 points the game before, Fife was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They took a 40-24 bruising from North Kitsap.

Fife has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 17-6 record this season. As for Kingston, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.

Kingston came up short against Fife in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 41-36. Can Kingston avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
