Volleyball Recap: University Comes Up Short

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the KIPP Newark Lab Sharks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sharks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Friday.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for KIPP Newark Lab, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-6.

University wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Newark Collegiate Academy on the 19th. As for KIPP Newark Lab, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against American History on the 19th.
