Baseball Recap: Weslaco East Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Weslaco East got themselves on the board against Donna North on Tuesday, but Donna North never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Chiefs. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Chiefs: they've now won seven in a row.

Jacob Ramirez looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Eduardo Hernandez was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Antonio Solis was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4.
