Baseball Game Preview: Dayton Broncos vs. West Fork Gators

The Dayton Broncos will take on the West Fork Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dayton hasn't scored more than two runs for five games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

On Tuesday, Dayton didn't have quite enough to beat West Fork and fell 3-2.

Dayton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zak Wood, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

West Fork's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Dayton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
