Gatlinburg-Pittman has gone a perfect 6-0 against University School recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Highlanders will venture away from home to face off against the Buccaneers at 6:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Gatlinburg-Pittman made easy work of Chuckey-Doak and carried off a 5-1 win. The result was nothing new for Gatlinburg-Pittman, who have now won five games by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, University School kept a clean sheet against Cosby on Tuesday. They blew past the Eagles 9-0. That's two games straight that University School have won by exactly nine goals.

Their offense was hitting Cosby from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Avian Pate led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

University School's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three contests. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4-1.

Everything went Gatlinburg-Pittman's way against University School in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Gatlinburg-Pittman made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Highlanders since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
