Volleyball Recap: Aptos Comes Up Short

Aptos was the 3-2 winner over Scotts Valley when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mariners fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Aptos dropped their record down to 5-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Scotts Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aptos will head out to take on Santa Cruz at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Scotts Valley, they will venture away from home to challenge Ann Sobrato at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
