Basketball Recap: Leakey Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Leakey, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 40-35 victory over the Rocksprings Angoras on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Angoras on January 3rd, they had to take a 59-51 loss.

Despite the defeat, Rocksprings had strong showings from Alektra Hernandez, who posted 12 points, and Katie Riojas, who had 12 points.

Leakey now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Rocksprings, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-16 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
