Basketball Recap: King & Queen Central Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Rappahannock came into Wednesday's game looking for another win against King & Queen Central, but Gerard Hill wouldn't allow it. The King & Queen Central Royal Tigers came out on top against the Rappahannock Raiders by a score of 72-65 on Wednesday thanks in part to Hill, who posted 46 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of King & Queen Central's points.

King & Queen Central has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Rappahannock, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King & Queen Central won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Middlesex at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Middlesex is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.2 points per game this season. As for Rappahannock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westmoreland at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
