Football Game Preview: Broadwater Bulldogs vs. Manhattan Tigers

The Broadwater Bulldogs will square off against the Manhattan Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Broadwater is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Jefferson 47-7. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Broadwater got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Marek Easter out in front who rushed for 130 yards and one TD on only 15 carries. Those 130 rushing yards gave Easter a new career-high. Another passer making a difference was Tavyn Anderson, who threw for 117 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Broadwater didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Jefferson to a completion percentage of just 26.7%. The Bulldogs weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 46.7%.

Broadwater didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Anderson and Bryce Lessley.

Meanwhile, Manhattan strolled into their game last Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Columbus, posting a 37-0 victory.

Broadwater's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Manhattan, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Broadwater took a serious blow against Manhattan in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, falling 34-7. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bulldogs were down 28-7.
