Baseball Recap: West Ridge Takes a Loss

West Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 9-2 to the Dobyns-Bennett Indians. That's two games in a row now that the Wolves have lost by exactly seven runs.

West Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Dobyns-Bennett, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

West Ridge didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-0 win against Chuckey-Doak on the 17th. As for Dobyns-Bennett, they have also already played their next game, a 5-0 victory against Sevier County on the 17th.
