American Studies put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Comprehensive Model N/A 57-23. Given American Studies' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while Comprehensive Model is ranked 480th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

American Studies pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Comprehensive Model, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

American Studies wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-50 win against Frederick Douglass Academy III on the 28th. As for Comprehensive Model, they are taking a road trip to square off against IN-Tech Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Comprehensive Model is facing IN-Tech Academy at the right time seeing as IN-Tech Academy is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
