Soccer Game Preview: Floresville vs. Pearsall

The Floresville Tigers/Jaguars will face off against the Pearsall Mavericks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Floresville turned things around against Pleasanton on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Eagles a 6-0 shutout. The Tigers/Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by four goals or more this season.

The victory got them back to even at 6-6.

As for Pearsall, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished 1-14-1.

Floresville took their win against Pearsall in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0. Will Floresville repeat their success, or does Pearsall have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
