Pine View has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Legacy Longhorns at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, it was a hard-fought game, but Pine View had to settle for an 8-6 defeat against Crimson Cliffs. Pine View has not had much luck with Crimson Cliffs recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Porter Campbell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Shakespeare, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, in what's become a running theme this season, Legacy gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Doral Academy Red Rock as Legacy made off with a 17-4 victory. The win was familiar territory for Legacy who now have seven in a row.

Isaiah Mercado was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (he also only allowed one walk). Mercado was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Legacy got a massive performance out of Alex James Scaggs, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Bomani Satterfield, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Pine View's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Legacy, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3.
