Fairfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 58-12 loss at the hands of the Argonia/Attica Titans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 58-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2021.

Although Fairfield took the loss, they still got scores from Gage Brown and Brodie Snodgrass.

Argonia/Attica's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carson Vineyard, who rushed for 156 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also picked up 36 receiving yards and a touchdown. Vineyard is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Mac Harnden was another key player, gaining 141 total yards and three touchdowns.

Fairfield now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Argonia/Attica, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Fairfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 46-0 win against Pretty Prairie on the 11th. Argonia/Attica has also already played their next game, a 28-12 loss against Central Christian on the 11th.
