Basketball Recap: Paterson Arts & Science Comes Up Short

Paterson Arts & Science managed to keep up with Central Jersey College Prep until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Paterson Arts & Science were dealt a 61-33 defeat at the hands of Central Jersey College Prep. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Paterson Arts & Science this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-56 two weeks ago.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central Jersey College Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carter Staton, who posted 16 points and three steals. The matchup was Staton's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Javan Edmunds was another key player, putting up nine points along with seven assists and seven boards.

Paterson Arts & Science's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Central Jersey College Prep, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Paterson Arts & Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Jersey College Prep, they will venture away from home to take on Bernards at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
