Hoover strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 27-21 W against the Green Bulldogs. The game was the first time the Vikings have beaten the Bulldogs on their field since October 15, 2021.

Hoover's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Green, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hoover will face off against rival Louisville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Vikings 9.5, the Leopards 5.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Green is set to challenge their familiar foe Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
