Volleyball Recap: Matthews Christian Academy Starts Season with Win at Home

Matthews Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mount Calvary Christian Warriors. The win continues a trend for the Colts in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-9, 25-20.

Mount Calvary Christian is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Matthews Christian Academy will host Rockwell Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Colts their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Mount Calvary Christian, they will square off against Shining Light Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
