Basketball Recap: Cj Terrell Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Hillcrest

Greenwood won the last time they faced Hillcrest and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Greenwood Eagles managed a 64-60 win over the Hillcrest Rams.

Greenwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cj Terrell, who went 8-for-9 to rack up 16 points and seven boards. What's more, Terrell also posted a 89% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Brooks, who went 5-for-11 en route to 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

Greenwood's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Hillcrest, they dropped their record down to 12-15 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Greenwood will square off against Greenville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Greenville will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Greenwood surely won't give up without a fight. Hillcrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
