Football Recap: South Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

South Christian and East Grand Rapids pushed the score to 42-28 the last time they played East Grand Rapids, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Sailors lost 21-0 to the Pioneers. Surprisingly, this marked the Sailors' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

South Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for East Grand Rapids, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Christian will host West Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Grand Rapids, they will challenge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
