East Central Illinois's top pitcher this week was
Ben Coates. He accumulated one win and eight strikeouts.
Decatur Lutheran made the biggest jump in the
national rankings, moving from 12860 to 12756 thanks to a 1-0 record over the past week.
Decatur Lutheran is currently No. 557 in the state of Illinois, with an overall record of 6-6.
The Lions boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks. Decatur Lutheran has given up a mere 78 hits on the year in addition to compiling 71 strikeouts. Coates is the leader in that category with 37 Ks on the season.
