Caroline is 7-1 against Culpeper County since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Cavaliers will venture away from home to square off against the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. Caroline is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Caroline is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since March 29, 2025 on Thursday. They lost 14-5 to Spotsylvania. The Cavaliers haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Alex Thomas was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tavaris Parker, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Meanwhile, Culpeper County made easy work of Courtland on Thursday and carried off an 8-1 victory. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Culpeper County's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Caroline, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Caroline skirted past Culpeper County 7-5 in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
